Abstract

He aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the regulation on marriage age limits based on Law Number 16 of 2019, and the basis for judges at the Tasikmalaya Regency Religious Court in granting requests for marriage dispensation based on Law Number 16 of 2019. This research uses technical data collection, then analyzed. using quantitative descriptive methods which are used to analyze data by describing or illustrating the data that has been collected as it is without intending to make generally accepted conclusions. With this research, it is hoped that the public will be more aware of the consequences or risks of underage marriage so that the application and implementation of Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage will be more effective.
