dc.description.abstract This study examines the teacher implement YouTube with subtitle in developing students’ reading comprehension of reading text. The study also students’ perceptions and the difficulties on the use of YouTube with subtitle in developing their reading comprehension of narrative text The study uses qualitative methods with case study. The study used classroom observation, interview and questionnaire to answer the research questions. The participant of this study is the teacher is English teacher who teaches narrative text through YouTube with subtitle and 21 students at the ninth grade. In the use of YouTube videos in teaching reading narrative texts, there are two things that are displayed in the data, that are the steps in using YouTube videos and students' responses to them. Meanwhile, there are steps for teaching and learning activities based on the results of observations and interviews, the steps taken by the teacher in teaching reading narrative texts using YouTube. In addition, For the further researcher, the findings of this study can be used as a source of information for future researchers. In addition, further researchers can examine deeper and longer in order to obtain maximum data. en_US
