dc.description.abstract This research explores the effectiveness of the Jumbled Sentences Technique in enhancing high school student narrative writing. Additionally, it focuses on a common problem where students find it hard to organize their ideas and create clear, well-structured stories because they don’t have enough vocabulary and aren’t very good at understanding sentence structure. The research used a qualitative approach and included one class of 38 11th-grade students from a high school in Tasikmalaya. Data was gathered through classroom observations, before and after tests, and interviews with six students—some who did well, some who did average, and some who had more difficulty. The observations checked how engaged students were, how well they understood story structure, and how they responded to the technique. The interviews helped find out what students learned and what challenges they faced. The results show that the Jumbled Sentences Technique makes it easier for students to organize their stories and helps them work together and stay involved. In the end, the study finds that the Jumbled Sentences Technique is a good and fun way to improve narrative writing. It also helps students take charge of their learning and think more critically. To make it work even better, it’s suggested that extra support like vocabulary help and bilingual teaching should be added, especially for students who aren’t as confident in language. en_US
