BY VIDEO TUTORIAL MEDIA IN GRADE IV STUDENTS OF SDN 3
SADAPAINGAN.
This study was motivated by the low writing skills of students' procedural texts
based on the results of a preliminary study at SDN 3 Sadapaingan. This is
because learning still does not use an interesting learning model. Based on the
results of interviews with class teachers, it is known that the skill of writing
procedural texts has a lower learning completeness of 55%. This study aims to
describe: 1) the steps for implementing learning to write procedural texts using
the Think Talk Write (TTW) model assisted by video tutorial media. 2) describe
the improvement in writing procedural text skills after participating in learning
using the TTW model assisted by video tutorial media. This study uses qualitative
research, all data obtained will be processed in the form of words so that
researchers use descriptive qualitative. The selection of this method is intended to
describe the events that occur as they are in accordance with the research
objectives to be achieved in the study. The data source in this study was 18
students of grade IV SDN 3 Sadapaingan consisting of 11 males and 7 females.
This class Action Research includes cycles I and II consisting of 1) planning; 2)
implementation; 3) observation; 4) reflection. The results of the study showed that
1) the steps for implementing learning to write procedural texts using the Think
Talk Write (TTW) model assisted by video tutorial media, namely introduction,
core (Think, Talk, Write), and closing. 2) there is an increase in students' writing
skills after participating in learning using the TTW model assisted by video
tutorial media in cycle I and then increasing significantly in cycle II, so that the
implementation of the action was stopped because it was in accordance with what
was expected
