Abstract:
The use of history learning models in schools so far still uses conventional learning models. This causes
a lack of motivation for students to learn history and impacts student learning outcomes, which still
need improvement, thus requiring improvements in using more varied learning models. This research
aims to determine the planning, implementation, and results of students’ history learning using the
Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model in class XI IPS 3 SMAN 1 Subang. The
method used is the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The data collection techniques used
were observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that using the Visual,
Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model with animated video media can increase motivation to
learn history in class XI students at SMAN 1 Subang. This is proven by the increase in the average results
and percentage of classical learning outcomes for students obtained from questionnaire data, where the
results of the paired samples T-test (T-test) with the help of the SPSS application show that the sig. 0.001
< 0.05.
