Abstract:
This study aims to describe the history, development and values of local wisdom contained in Kiliningan art in Hegarmanah Village, Cidolog District, Ciamis Regency. The research method used in this research is the historical method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are field observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the Kiliningan art is a set of gamelan musical instruments accompanied by a sinden to sing a song in various performances. Kiliningan art is art from the Subang area which spread to Hegarmanah Village brought directly by the original artist of the area, namely Mr. Ukaman. Kiliningan art was present in the midst of the Hegarmanah community in 2015 until now. At first, this art only existed in certain events, but now almost every event has this art. The values contained in this art are: religious values, social values, economic values, aesthetic values and educational values.
