dc.description.abstract Inef icient human resource management, characterized by fluctuations in labor demand, often leads to delays and cost overruns in construction projects. The Of ice Factory Construction Project of PT Macroprima Panganutama in Semarang Regency experienced similar issues, where suboptimal workforce management resulted in schedule delays. This research aims to analyze and optimize the use of construction labor using the Resource Leveling method and to determine the most ef ective labor model to approximate the original planned duration. The research method employed is quantitative descriptive with a case study on the aforementioned project. The analysis was conducted using Microsoft Project 2021 software, which included creating a network diagram with the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) to identify the critical path, developing a histogram model to visualize fluctuations, and applying the Resource Leveling method through a trial-and-error approach. The data used consists of primary data from observations and secondary data such as the time schedule and labor attendance records. The analysis of the initial (existing) condition revealed that the project schedule was delayed from the planned 111 days to 139 days after resource leveling was applied. After testing several modeling scenarios, it was found that the 3rd model was the most ideal solution. This model resulted in a project completion duration of 119 days, only an 8-day dif erence from the original plan. This was achieved by increasing the number of laborers: workers from 35 to 45, masons from 14 to 16, steelworkers from 9 to 12, and a foreman from 1 to 2. This model proved successful in significantly reducing labor demand fluctuations and producing a more balanced histogram. en_US
