Abstract:
Project control is one of the most important management activities due to the highly complex nature of project-related issues. Therefore, effective management is required to handle such complexity, including for the Cileumeuh–Napel Road Improvement Project in Cilacap Regency, to ensure the project proceeds according to the planned schedule. The objective of this study is to evaluate cost and time performance using the Earned Value Management (EVM) method. The data used in this study include the Budget Plan (RAB), SCurve, Time Schedule, and Weekly Reports. The results of the analysis using the Earned Value Management method show that the schedule performance is less than ideal, with an SPI < 1 and an average SPI of 0.519, indicating poor time performance—meaning the project is delayed and not completed as scheduled. The Cost Performance Index (CPI) is also less than 1, with an average CPI < 1, indicating poor cost performance, as the Actual Cost exceeds the Earned Value.
