dc.description.abstract |
This study aims to find out how teacher teach reading descriptive text using the technique of Molina and Albir’s and to find out the majority of kinds of tehcnique of translation by using Molina and Albir translation technique. The study uses qualitative methods with descriptive study. The study used classroom observation, interview and student sheet to answer the research question. The Instruments have been applied to the English teacher and twenty five students as the sample of this study. The results of this study proved that the teacher implemented the translation technique by Molina and Albir and also the teacher feel enjoy in applied the translation technique. Meanwhile, the writer concluded that kinds of translation tecnique used in translating descriptive text. The writer found that there were 27% of Generalization, 22% Liertal translation, 22% Particulalization, 15% Established Equivalent, and 14% Borrowing as the Molina and Albir Translation technique doing by students in the reading classroom. In addition, further researchers can examine deeper and longer in order to obtain maximum data. In the sense that high school students can already use translation techniques that is quite good and there needs to be further training so that students' abilities in carrying out the translation process are getting better. |
