Kata kunci: elevasi kepala; saturasi oksigen; stroke Referensi : 10 Jurnal (2015-2025) NERS EDUCATION PROGRAM FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES,GALUH UNYVERSITY NENG MIMIN 1490124030 V Chafter + 78 Pages + 4 Tables + Attachments THE EFFECTIVENESS OF 30-DEGREE HEAD ELEVATION IN INCREASED OXYGEN SATURATION IN STROKE PATIENTS: LITERATURE REVIEW ABSTRACT Stroke is a brain disease in which blood vessels to the brain are blocked, scausing hypoxia, oxygen is a very important necessity for every living thing. The provision of a head elevation of 30 degrees is useful for facilitating blood circulation to the nerves of the brain, to increase gas exchange in the body and increase the level of consciousness so as to increase oxygen saturation. The purpose of the study: to determine the effect of giving a head elevation of 30 degrees in increasing the oxygen saturation of stroke patients. Method: This research method is a literature review with a data approach using google scholar, pubmed and science direct databases with keywords used such as head elevation, oxygen saturation, and stroke. Results: The results of the literature review conducted obtained as many as 384 articles and 6 literature articles that met the inclusion criteria stated that patients who had a stroke had higher oxygen saturation after being given a head elevation of 30 degrees. Conclusion: Giving a head elevation of 30 degrees can have an effect and has effectiveness in increasing oxygen saturation in patients who have had a stroke. Keywords: head elevation; oxygen saturation; stroke References : 10 Journal (2015-2025) en_US
