Scoping Review: Penatalaksanaan Keperawatan dalam Menurunkan Suhu Tubuh pada Anak dengan Kejang Demam

Abstract

Febrile seizures are one of the most common problems almost all over the world. Febrile seizures are also a disease that often occurs in children, especially in children aged 6 months to 5 years. The main factor that causes children to experience febrile seizures is hyperthermia, but febrile seizures can also be caused by several other factors, such as infection, brain disorders, trauma, and electrolyte disorders. Accurate initial control carried out by parents when their child has a febrile seizure is not to panic and must be calm. The aim is to analyze how nursing management is to lower body temperature in children with febrile seizures, based on empirical studies over the past 5 years. The method used is a journal search using the Pubmed database, Sciantsirect and scholar articles with topics published in English from 2020-2025 then screened using the Prisma method. The results of this scoping review utilize DSVIA using keywords that are in accordance with the preparation of the report. Articles are selected with a choice of journals, abstract choices, with inclusion and exclusion criteria, so that the journals found to be investigated. Results Based on the results of the scoping review analysis, there were 12 journals that had been analyzed. It was concluded that the data showed a significant decrease in body temperature after being given pharmacological and non-pharmacological nursing management and that the decrease in body temperature with easy and cheap therapy was proven on average using warm compress therapy.
