Efektivitas Kompres Hangat terhadap Nyeri Kepala Hipertensi

Abstract

PROGRAM STUDI SARJAN KEPERAWATAN FAKULTAS ILMU KESEHATAN UNIVERSITAS GALUH CIAMIS Skripsi, Maret 2025 Nur Alisa EFEKTIVITAS KOMPRES HANGAT TERHADAP NYERI KEPALA PASIEN HIPERTENSI DI RUANGAN RAWAT INAP RUMAH SAKIT MASMITRA KOTA BEKASI ABSTRAK Nyeri kepala menjadi masalah utama pada pasien dengan tekanan darah tinggi, selain nyeri kepala biasanya disertai dengan tengkuk terasa berat. Tingkat keparahan nyeri kepala pada pasien hipertensi bervariasi, mulai dari nyeri ringan hingga nyeri berat. Pasien dengan hipertensi sering mengalami sakit kepala, dengan 73% merasakannya; 40% melaporkan sakit kepala ringan, 28% merasakan sakit kepala sedang, dan 5% mengalami nyeri berat. ). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas kompres hangat terhadap nyeri kepala pasien hipertensi. Jenis penelitian ini kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperimen. Jumlah sampel 29 orang responden, pengambilam sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Subyek dalam penelitian ini responden dengan nyeri kepala hipertensi sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Metode yang digunakan one group pre test and post test, instrumen yang digunakan SOP kompres hangat, lembar observasi skala nyeri numerik rating scale (NRS). Hasil penelitin setelah dilakukan uji analisi uji wilcoxon hasil pretes dan post test diperoleh nilai p-Value <0,001 (p>0,05). Sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan kompres hangat efektif terhadap nyeri kepala pasien hipertensi. Kesimpulan nyeri kepala pasien hipertensi setelah dilakukan kompres hangat terdapat perbedaan, dari yang awalnya nyeri ringan menjadi tidak nyeri, dari nyeri sedang menjadi nyeri ringan. Kompres hangat efektif terhadap nyeri kepala pasien hipertensi. Saran Diharapkan untuk penelitian selanjutnya, peneliti dapat menggunakan terapi non farmakologis lebih dari 1, untuk membandingkan kefektivan dari bebagai terapi non farmaologis dalam mengatasi nyeri kepala terhadap hipertensi.

The severity of headaches in hypertensive patients varies, from mild to severe pain. Patients with hypertension often experience headaches, with 73% feeling it; 40% reported mild headaches, 28% felt moderate headaches, and 5% experienced severe pain. ). The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of warm compresses on headaches in hypertensive patients. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research design. The number of samples was 29 respondents, sampling using purposive sampling techniques. The subjects in this study were respondents with hypertensive headaches according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The method used was one group pre-test and post-test, the instrument used was the warm compress SOP, the numeric rating scale (NRS) pain observation sheet. The results of the study after conducting the Wilcoxon test analysis of the pretest and posttest results obtained a p-Value <0.001 (p> 0.05). So it can be stated that there is a significant difference between the results before and after treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that warm compresses are effective for headaches in hypertensive patients. The conclusion is that headaches in hypertensive patients after warm compresses are different, from initially mild pain to no pain, from moderate pain to mild pain. Warm compresses are effective for headaches in hypertensive patients. Suggestions It is hoped that for further research, researchers can use more than 1 non-pharmacological therapy, to compare the effectiveness of various non-pharmacological therapies in overcoming headaches in hypertension.
