GAMBARAN FAKTOR DETERMINAN YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KOTA BANJAR TAHUN 2024

ABSTRAK

Stunting merupakan salah satu masalah yang menghambat perkembangan manusia secara global. Prevalensi balita pendek menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat jika prevalensinya 20% atau lebih. Pada saat ini terdapat sekitar 162 juta anak berusia dibawah lima tahun mengalami stunting, dan diperkirakan tahun 2025 terdapat 127 juta anak berusia dibawah lima tahun akan mengalami stunting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran Faktor Determinan yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Banjar Tahun 2024. Jenis penelitian yang digunakkan adalah penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah balita stunting sebanyak 88, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Analisis Bivariat dilakukan dengan Chi Square didapat nilai Pvalue sebesar 0,003 yang berarti ada hubungan Faktor Determinan dengan Kejadian Stunting, begitu juga dengan analisis Multivariat didapat nilai Pvalue sebesar 0,034 yang berarti terdapat juga keterkaitan faktor determinan dengan kejadian stunting. Disimpulkan bahwa hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Faktor determinan yang menyebabkan kejadian stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Banjar yaitu Usia Ibu saat Kehamilan. Besar harapan hasil penelitian ini bisa dijadikan upaya dalam melakukan penanganan pasien dengan stunting pada balita, dan melakukan pencegahan dengan promosi kesehatan pada ibu dengan balita stunting.

DESCRIPTION OF DETERMINANT FACTORS RELATED TO STUNTING INCIDENCE IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE BANJAR CITY HEALTH CENTER IN 2024

ABSTRACT

Stunting is one of the problems that hinders human development globally. The prevalence of short toddlers becomes a public health problem if the prevalence is 20% or more. Currently, there are around 162 million children under five years old who are stunted, and it is estimated that by 2025 there will be 127 million children under five years old who will be stunted. The purpose of this study is to find out the description of determinant factors related to the incidence of stunting in the Banjar City Health Center Work Area in 2024. The type of research used is correlational descriptive research with an cross sectional research design. The sample in this study was 88 stunted toddlers, with a sampling technique using a simple random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis was carried out with Chi Square obtaining a Pvalue value of 0.003 which means that there is a relationship between Determinant Factors and Stunting Events, as well as Multivariate analysis obtained a Pvalue value of 0.034 which means that there is also a relationship between determinant factors and stunting incidence. It was concluded that the results of this study were determinants that caused the incidence of stunting in the Working Area of the Banjar City Health Center, namely the mother's age during pregnancy. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as an effort to treat patients with stunting in toddlers, and to prevent by promoting health in mothers with stunted toddlers.
