dc.description.abstract This study aims to examine the effectiveness of digital storytelling in teaching EFL students with low motivation to learn. English learning is very important for students because English is the second language in Indonesia. Unfortunately low-motivated students are often less engaged in learning activities, which negatively impacts their ability to master English. Digital storytelling (DST) with its combination of text, image, audio and video elements, offers an interactive and engaging approach that can help students feel more connected and motivated to participate. This research was conducted in a junior high school in Ciamis. This study used a case study. Yet, studies omn DST are still limitedmethod. Data was collected through classroom observation, interviews with students, as well as questionnaires. This study used a qualitative design. The results showed that the use of digital storytelling significantly increased students' engagement in classroom interaction, strengthened their self-confidence, and encouraged creativity and cooperation among students. The findings suggest that digital storytelling is an effective tool to help less motivated EFL students increase their engagement in English language learning. en_US
