dc.description.abstract This research aims to find out how students use the TikTok application to learn to think critically and the challenges I found students related to using the TikTok application in learning to think critically in speaking. The research uses qualitative methods with close case studies. The research used interviews and questionnaires to answer the research. conducted interviews with six students based on recommendations from teachers using semi-structured interviews, then a questionnaire was conducted on class X students using a closed questionnaire method via Gform. The result of this research is that using the TikTok application to learn critical thinking is a convenient learning medium specifically for learning to think critically in speaking. telling stories, the TikTok application has the potential to be a good learning medium. because in times of need, technology is present. Learning to think critically in speaking using the TikTok application has a positive impact on students who use digital applications. students become confident and more sensitive to what they see and hear and students' abilities increase, develop and are stimulated to express the ideas or words they put together. Researchers also found various challenges, namely that students still had difficulty finding learning content and also the use of signals which was one of the main obstacles. In the end, the researcher provides recommendations to educational institutions, teachers, students and future researchers if they have the same topic. en_US
