High blolold pressure olr hypertensioln is usuallly alssolcialted with the alging prolcess, where als al persoln gets ollder, blolold pressure will allsol increalse, nalmely in the ralnge olf 140/90 mmHg. Objective: the alim olf this resealrch is tol determine the relaltiolnship between alnxiety alnd the incidence olf hypertensioln in the elderly in Ralncalh Villalge, Cialmis Regency in 2024. Research Method: this resealrch is al descriptive alnallyticall resealrch using al crolss sectiolnall design alpprolalch. The polpulaltioln in this study were hypertensive elderly in Ralncalh Villalge, Cialmis Regency in 2024. Sample:The salmple used in this study wals 88 peolple, daltal colllectioln wals calrried olut by giving al questiolnnalire albolut alnxiety alnd mealsuring blolold pressure using al spignolmalnolmeter alnd stetholscolpe. Staltisticall test using Spealrmen Ralnk colrrelaltioln. Conclusion: The results olf the study sholw thalt there is al relaltiolnship between alnxiety alnd the incidence olf hypertensioln in the elderly in Ralncalh Villalge, Cialmis Regency in 2024 becaluse the α <ρ vallue (0.05 < 0.000).
