Hubungan Riwayat Anemia Pada Kehamilan Dengan Kejadian Stunting Pada Bayi Dan Balita Usia 0-59 Bulan Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sadananya Tahun 2024

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting is a condition of failure to grow in infants and toddlers due to chronic malnutrition in 1,000 (HPK), therefore children are shorter than their age. This chronic malnutrition condition has the potential to be exacerbated by "hidden hunger" due to micronourishment, namely vitamins and minerals. Pregnancy anemia refers to the situation of hemoglobin levels in the blood circulation of pregnant women falling below a certain threshold (<11g/dL). Pregnant women with anemia can also increase their risk of stunting. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between anemia in mother pregnancy and stunting in infants and toddlers aged 0-59 months in the Sadananya Public Health Center working area. This type of research uses quantitative research using the quantitative descriptive method of correlation and the design of this study uses correlation. This research population is mothers who have babies and toddlers aged 0-59 months with 543 babies and toddlers. Using a random sampling technique, obtain a sample of 85 respondents. Analysis of this study uses the Spearman Rank test. The results of this study show a p-value of 0.000. This relationship is strengthened by a correlation value of 0.680 which falls into the strong category. The advice for subsequent researchers who choose a plan to conduct the same study is that regarding the history of anemia in maternal pregnancy with stunting events is expected to use a different method.
