Abstract:
In the era of globalization driven by advances in information technology, digital transformation is a must for various sectors, including notary offices. This research focuses on the application of Enterprise Architecture Planning (EAP) to design an information system architecture that can improve operational efficiency and effectiveness at the Notary Office of Ani Yaniatin Pitaloka, S.H. located in Pangandaran Regency.
This research aims to develop a comprehensive information system architecture design, produce a blueprint that is in line with the business direction of the notary office, and identify the appropriate implementation steps. The EAP methodology is applied through four main layers: Initiation, Understanding Current Conditions, Future Plans, and Achievement Strategies. This process includes business function identification, business process modeling, data architecture, applications, and technology, and implementation plans.
The results of the study show that the implementation of EAP-based information systems can improve the service and archiving process that has been done manually. The design of the new system involves integrated service and archiving applications, using a star topology-based technology architecture to improve operational efficiency. The resulting blueprint provides detailed guidance for implementation, with a focus on applications that support key business functions, such as notary services and document filing.
