NURSING CARE FOR MR.Y CLIENTS WITH A POST- OPERATIVE MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS OF HERNIA SCROTALIS THROUG THE APPLICATION OF AL-QUR’AN MUROTTAL THERAPY IN THE KAKAP ROOM AT PANDEGA PANGANDARAN REGIONAL HOSPITAL Wiwik Riswiastuti, Tita Rohita, Reni Hertini Background: Scrotalis Hernia is a hernia that exis the peritonan cavity through the internal inguinal annulus which is located to the inferior epigastric vessels then the hernia enters from the annulus into canal and if it is long it protrudes out of the external inguinal annulus and reaches the scrotum. A hernia a health problem whose impact is the hernia is not operated on, it will get bigger and worse and stop the blood supply to the intestines, causing tissue death and permanen damage. Almost all operations cause pain. One of treatments for post hernia surgery pain is non- pharmacological thearpi. One of the non-phamakological therapies is murottal Al-Qur’an therapy. Murottal Al-Qur’an therapy is music therapy in the form of sound recordings of chanting verses of the Al-Qur’an which have a positive influence on the listener. The purpose of this writing is to analyse nursing care for Mr.Y. Murottal Al-Qur’an in the snap room of Pandega Pangandran Regional Hospital. The method of : this research is to compare before and after intervention in the form of cases to analyse problem in cases of nursing care for clients with post –scrotalis hernia surgery, with a sample of 1 respondent. Data analysis:was carried out descriptively, namely, before and after administering murottal Al-Qur’an therapy to clients post scrotal hernia surgery by comparing the theoretical research results and the results of previous researchers. The results of this analysis showed that the main problem suffered by the client was acute pain related to physical injury and after intervention with the application of Al-Qur’an murottal therapy, the results showed that the therapiy was effective in reducing the scale of pain the client. Confulsion : This research can be used as input for the community, health institutes, and families about the importance of the benefits of non- pharmacological therapy by applying Al-Qur’an murottal therapy, so that it can reduce pain and provide calm an relaxatiob to the body.
