Abstract:
Indonesia is a developing country with the number of cancer sufferers continuing to increase and it is the most common cause of death (Lestari & Wulansari, 2018). Breast cancer or ca mammae is a malignancy that originates from breast tissue. Ca mammae is often diagnosed in women aged 30-70 years (Rizka et al., 2022). Data from the Ciamis Dadi Family Hospital in 2022 was 147 cases and in January-October 2023 there were 102 cases. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and pain intensity in ca mammae patients at the Dadi Keluarga Ciamis Hospital. This researcher used a quantitative approach with a correlational design, with a cross sectional design by means of data collection. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between family support and pain intensity in ca mammae patients at the Dadi Keluarga Ciamis Hospital. This is shown from the results of data collection that patients who receive good family support tend to have less pain compared to patients who receive less family support.
