ABSTRACT
This paper deals with the implementation on applying Zoom Meeting for teaching
and learning English descriptive text in a vocational school students in Cipatujah,
Tasikmalaya. The aim of this study was to discover the implementation of Zoom
Meeting in English teaching and learning process also to discover the students’
perception on applying Zoom Meeting in English classrom. The writer employed
a qualitative case study and the data were obtained through an observation,
questionnaire and interview to 37 students from tenth grade and one of female
English teacher were participated in this study. The data from observation,
questionnaire and interview were the data collection. The finding shows that
Zoom Meeting already implement in that English classroom during of Covid-19
era and the results shows that Zoom Meeting very helped students in learning
English easily moreover in this pandemic era, the material only can give in an
online classroom so it was helped the teacher also in giving the material. Besides,
the students also felt comfortable in learning English through Zoom Meeting so
they are agree to the statements in the questionnaire items. In conclusion, the
implementation of Zoom Meeting in teaching and learning English process
especially for descriptive text material were encouraged the students to help and
support together during the class. Thus, this application was made the students
enjoyed and got some insights and motivated because they can learning by
technology that related to their majority though an online learning.
