Abstract:
This research is motivated by the problem that the role of the Maparah Village Government in the Formation of Community Information Groups in Maparah Village, Panjlau District, Ciamis Regency has not run optimally, it can be seen that there are several problems such as, Lack of optimal government services to the community related to important information, Lack of public understanding related to regulations that regulates Community Information Groups, Lack of availability of various sectors of facilities, There is no effort to guide the community in the formation and empowerment of Community Information Groups. In the preparation of this study the author uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation, and documentation. Qualitative Data Processing/Analysis Techniques uses descriptive data analysis, namely by collecting facts and describing them. The steps of data analysis are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing. Based on the discussion that overall the Maparah Village Government, Panjalu District, Ciamis Regency has not carried out its role optimally.
