dc.description.abstract The low accuracy of short passing and ball control among school-aged players underlies the implementation of this experimental research. The main problem stems from the application of conventional training patterns that tend to be monotonous and do not provide maximum volume of movement repetition. The purpose of this study was to analyze and compare the effectiveness between the training method using single-direction wall media and the modification of box-shaped wall media on improving soccer passing-stopping skills. The research method operated was an experiment with a pretest-posttest group design. The research population included all students participating in soccer extracurricular activities at MTs Al Kautsar Banjar, totaling 20 people. Sampling used a total sampling technique, where subjects were divided equally into two intervention groups through ordinal pairing procedures. The data collection instrument utilized a soccer passing-stopping skill test with a duration of 30 seconds which has been tested for its level of validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used parametric statistics in the form of paired t-test and independent t-test assisted by SPSS version 26.0 software at a significance level of α=0.05. The results of statistical calculations showed that the t-value of the single wall media group was 2.87 and the box-shaped media group was 3.68, where both values exceeded the t-table score of 2.23. The independent comparative analysis generated a final intergroup t-value of 12.50, which is far above the critical threshold of the t-table. The final conclusion of the study confirms that the training method using box-shaped wall media provides a much superior impact on motor performance improvement compared to the use of linear single wall media. en_US
