Penggunaan model pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah selama ini masih banyak menggunakan model pembelajaran yang konvensional. Hal ini menyebabkan minimnya motivasi belajar sejarah siswa dan berdampak pada hasil belajar siswa yang masih kurang, sehingga memerlukan perbaikan dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran yang lebih bervariatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil belajar sejarah siswa  dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Visualization, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) di kelas XI IPS 3 SMAN 1 Subang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic (VAK) dengan media video animasi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar sejarah pada siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Subang. Dibuktikan dengan peningkatan hasil rata-rata dan presentase hasil belajar klasikal pada siswa yang diperoleh dari data angket, dimana hasil uji paired samples T test (uji-T) dengan bantuan aplikasi SPSS menunjukan bahwa nilai sig. 0,001 &lt; 0,05

The production of blacksmith craftsmen in the dokdak village has decreased; this is due to the covid-19 pandemic. This decline occurred due to the weakness of the marketing system and the lack of public knowledge about the values of local wisdom. To empower local wisdom, especially the production of blacksmiths, community service was carried out with the aim of creating a modern marketing system and&#13;
increasing public understanding. In achieving this goal, the P3 method was carried out, with three stages.&#13;
The first stage of planning begins with a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The second stage of&#13;
implementation was a survey of the community around the service locus, by meeting local community&#13;
leaders. The third stage is mentoring activities on strengthening local wisdom values. The locus of service&#13;
was carried out in Dokdak Village, Baregbeg Village, Baregbeg District, Ciamis Regency. The results of&#13;
the training and mentoring evaluation showed that the response of the training participants regarding&#13;
historical and cultural understanding increased from 42.3% to 84.6%. Then the understanding of the&#13;
importance of local wisdom values also increased from 34.6% to 76.9%. Furthermore, participants had&#13;
knowledge related to how to establish business partners, one of which was with local BUMDES. The&#13;
results of online marketing training and assistance had been successfully carried out, namely by&#13;
registering a blacksmith business group in the shopee marketplace. This training and mentoring activity was expected to be useful for participants in the dokdak village environment, especially in improving&#13;
welfare/the economy.

The industrial revolution 4.0 challenges educational progress in a better direction, so managers must be able to prepare and produce graduates who are mentally ready to prepare knowledge and character-based jobs. The writing of this article aims to strengthen character education which is important to be carried out in anticipation of the negative impact of the industrial revolution 4.0. namely by integrating character education through historical education. This research uses the library research method. This method is a method that elaborates on various kinds of literature in the form of books, journals, or literature that is relevant to the theme of writing. The important stages of the library method are, choosing a research theme/topic, seeking information, setting a research focus, collecting sources, making reports, processing research notes, making research notes, and reading data sources. The result of this research is that strengthening character education through historical education during the industrial revolution 4.0 is important to do. Things that can be done in shaping these characters are through local history-based history learning and using media that developed in the 4.0 revolution, such as comics and the storyboardthat.com application that uses the internet network. Through history education, students can understand all kinds of national problems with historical messages, so that students have the ability to think critically, creatively, wisely, empathically, independently, with a national spirit and with dignity.

Minimnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait nilai-nilai kearifan lokal menyebabkan mulai ditinggalkannya mata pencaharian sebagai pandai besi oleh masyarakat Kampung Dokdak. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut dilakukan pendampingan eenguatan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal bagi masyarakat Kampung Dokdak dengan tujuan, supaya masyarakat tetap mempertahankan warisan budaya leluhurnya, yaitu kegiatan mata pencaharian sebagai pandai besi dan diharapkan mampu berdampak pada peningkatan perekonomian. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah melalui pendekatan P3, yaitu perencanaan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya pemahaman masyarakat terkait pentingnya mempertahankan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat dari 50% menjadi 85%. Lebih lanjut respon masyarakat menunjukan bahwa sebesar 90% masyarakat memberikan respon memahami dan 10% masyarakat memberikan respon kurang memahami terkait nilai-nilai keraifan lokal
