<summary type="text">THE USE OF YOUTUBE WITH SUBTITLE  FOR TEACHING READING OF NARRATIVE TEXT

This study examines the teacher implement YouTube with subtitle in developing students’ reading comprehension of reading text. The study also students’ perceptions and the difficulties on the use of YouTube with subtitle in developing their reading comprehension of narrative text  The study uses qualitative methods with case study. The study used classroom observation, interview and questionnaire to answer the research questions. The participant of this study is the teacher is English teacher who teaches narrative text through YouTube with subtitle and 21 students at the ninth grade. In the use of YouTube videos in teaching reading narrative texts, there are two things that are displayed in the data, that are the steps in using YouTube videos and students' responses to them. Meanwhile, there are steps for teaching and learning activities based on the results of observations and interviews, the steps taken by the teacher in teaching reading narrative texts using YouTube. In addition, For the further researcher, the findings of this study can be used as a source of information for future researchers. In addition, further researchers can examine deeper and longer in order to obtain maximum data.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh latihan power&#13;
step-up dengan lunge jump terhadap peningkatan power tungkai. Metode&#13;
penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre-experimental design. Lokasi penelitian&#13;
di SMP Negeri 4 Pamarican Kabupaten Ciamis. Subjek penelitian yaitu 20&#13;
orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling.Instrument test yang&#13;
digunakan yaitu vertial jump. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan SPSS&#13;
serie 26, hasil pengolahan data terdiri dari: 1. Latihan power step up&#13;
memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap peningkatan power&#13;
tungkai. 2. Latihan lunge jump memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan&#13;
terhadap peningkatan power otot tungkai. 3. Terdapat perbedaan secara&#13;
signifikan antara latihan power step up dengan lunge jump terhadap&#13;
peningkatan power otot tungkai. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh yang&#13;
signifikan latihan power step-up dengan lunge jump terhadap peningkatan&#13;
power tungkai. Saran: Diharapkan sebagai salah satu pertimbangan&#13;
bentuk latihan power step-up dengan lunge jump dapat dijadikan bahan&#13;
latihan kondisi fisik pada unsur biomotorik power tungkai.v

The research reported in this paper centered to explore the enhancing english reading skill trough british council web and to analyze students and teacher perceptions while learning. This qualitative case study research was conducted in one of the vocational school in Ciamis. This research involved a tenth-grader consisted of twenty two students and English teacher in academic year 2022/2023. The data were collected using classroom observation, and a close-ended questionnaire. The researcher coded, transcribed, and summarized the data with triangulation data analysis technique. The research finding showed that the teacher implement british council strategy in the teaching and learning process namely develop the background knowledge, discuss the material, discuss the strategy. The use of british council web made the students more enthusiastic and improved their focus to learning english reading skill. Additionally, it improves their motivation to learning new english reading skill. Moreover, the teacher felt easier to convey the learning materials and classroom atmosphere. Students also gave a positive atmosphere when the teacher used british council web in teaching reading in the degree of comparison material. However both of the students and the teacher stated that longer treatment with this strategy was needed by the students to improve their reading skills. Therefore, the future researcher could be using this strategy with some modifications and adaptations to improve another skills in English learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemanfaatan media visual situs Terowongan Philips sebagai sumber belajar sejarah di kelas XI MA Fathurrohman, dengan fokus pada kelas XI IPS 1. Media visual memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi sejarah, terutama melalui pengenalan langsung terhadap situs-situs sejarah yang ada di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis untuk menggambarkan dan menganalisis proses pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan media visual tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dan guru sejarah di MA Fathurrohman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media visual situs Terowongan Philips dapat membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, mempermudah pemahaman konsep-konsep sejarah, dan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih konkret dan menarik. Situs Terowongan Philips sebagai salah satu warisan sejarah lokal memberikan nilai tambah dalam pembelajaran sejarah karena siswa dapat lebih mudah menghubungkan materi yang dipelajari dengan realitas di sekitar mereka. Simpulannya peserta didik yang sebelumnya kurang antusias dan berminat pada materi-materi pembelajaran sejarah, kemudian menjadi sangat antusias aktif dan memahami seluruh proses pembelajaran ketika materi tentang situs terowongan Philips pada periodisasi sejarah Kolonialisme barat di Indonesia
