ANALISIS RISIKO KECELAKAAN KERJA MENGGUNAKAN METODE BOWTIE PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN JEMBATAN PANDANSIMO KABUPATEN BANTUL DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Abstract

A work accident can be defined as an unplanned event that disrupts or hinders project activities, resulting in injury, illness, or death. The Pandansimo Bridge Construction Project is a construction project highly susceptible to incidents/accidents because most of the work is located on the banks of the Progo River, which can be flooded at any time due to overflowing waters from the Progo River, which can hinder the work process or even halt all work activities. Therefore, research is needed to identify the risks and hazards that could occur on the project so that potential work accidents can be reduced/minimized before they occur. An alternative approach is to identify, analyze, and evaluate risk factors for work accidents at the construction project site. The Bowtie Analysis method is used to systematically determine the causes, impacts, and controls for incidents/accidents. The results of this study revealed the most dominant work accident risk, namely the potential for sling/shackle breakage on crawler cranes. The risk was subsequently identified as being caused by aging heavy equipment. The impact of this risk is that workers experience serious injury or death from falling materials (corrugated steel plates and voided slab girders). Control measures for this risk include routine and periodic maintenance and repair of heavy equipment (Control Measure Prevention) and training and campaigns on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with HSE regulations (Control Measure Mitigation).
