The off-street parking area at Rita Pasaraya Cilacap is often overloaded during peak hours due to insufficient parking space for visitors. This results in many visitors parking on the road, disrupting traffic flow. Therefore, an analysis of the off-street parking area at Rita Pasaraya Cilacap is necessary.
The purpose of this study is to determine the parking accumulation, parking volume and parking index in the off-street parking space of Rita Pasaraya Cilacap, and to determine the static capacity and the need for off-street parking space of Rita Pasaraya Cilacap. The method used in this study is a survey method, namely by conducting direct observations at the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis.
The results of the study showed that the maximum parking accumulation for cars was 35 vehicles and the maximum parking accumulation for motorcycles was 192 vehicles. The largest car parking volume was 81 vehicles and the largest motorcycle parking volume was 474 vehicles. The average car parking duration was 2.89 hours and the average motorcycle parking duration was 2.28 hours. The average car parking index was 112% and the average motorcycle parking index was 105%. The static capacity of the car parking space at Rita Pasaraya Cilacap was 25 SRP, the calculation result of the need for car parking space was 29 SRP so that the car parking space was less than 4 SRP. The static capacity of motorcycles was 145 SRP, the calculation result of the need for motorcycle parking space was 135 SRP so that the motorcycle parking space was 10 SRP in excess.
