dc.description.abstract Ade Asikin, 2025. “Optimization of Cost and Time in Construction Work for the Development of the Physics Laboratory at SMKN 1 Kawali Using the Time Cost Trade Off (TC]TO) Method.” In the initial planning of a construction project, time, cost, and quality are interdependent factors that strongly influence one another. This study addresses issues arising from weather conditions during the structural work phase, which caused delays in subsequent tasks, as well as the use of manually mixed concrete (site mix). The research aims to determine the optimal project duration and cost after implementing extended working hours (overtime). The Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO) method was applied by adding one hour of overtime work per day. The goal of this method is to accelerate project completion and analyze the impact of shortened duration on increased costs, identifying the most effective acceleration strategy with the lowest possible additional cost. The analysis was conducted using Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel. Conclusion of the Analysis Using the Crashing Program Concept / Overtime Work Addition on Time and Cost in the Construction Project of the Physics Laboratory Room at SMKN 1 Kawali. The initial contract value for the project was Rp 429,560,000.00. After implementing an additional 2 hours of overtime work per day, the optimal project duration was reduced from 126 days to 120 days, resulting in a time efficiency of 4.76%. The cost incurred due to the 2-hour overtime addition amounted to Rp 3,066,686.72, bringing the total project cost to Rp 432,626,686.72. This reflects a cost increase of only 0.71%. en_US
