ABSTRAK
Proyek konstruksi merupakan kegiatan yang bersifat sementara dengan alokasi
sumber daya terbatas dan target waktu yang telah ditentukan. ditemukan
permasalahan keterlambatan selama 10 hari dalam proses pembuatan bahu jalan
dari total estimasi waktu pelaksanaan selama 90 hari kalender. Kondisi ini
memerlukan pengendalian waktu yang efektif agar proyek tetap berjalan sesuai
sasaran.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Line of Balance untuk menganalisis dan
mengendalikan jadwal proyek. Metode Line of Balance dipilih karena mampu
menggambarkan hubungan antara waktu dan item pekerjaan secara grafis, sehingga
mempermudah pemantauan kemajuan dan identifikasi potensi gangguan.
Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa durasi optimal penyelesaian proyek adalah 79
hari, atau 21 hari lebih cepat dibandingkan time schedule eksisting proyek yang
tercatat selama 100 hari. Selain itu, Line of Balance mampu menyajikan tingkat
produktivitas dalam bentuk grafik yang mudah dipahami serta mengidentifikasi
kesalahan kemajuan kegiatan. Namun, metode ini memiliki kelemahan, yaitu
potensi peningkatan biaya akibat penambahan intensitas kegiatan pada setiap item
pekerjaan.

ABSTRACK
Construction projects are temporary activities with limited resource allocation and
a predetermined time target. a delay of 10 days was identified in the shoulder
construction process from the total estimated duration of 90 calendar days. This
condition requires effective time control to ensure the project stays on track.
This study uses the Line of Balance method to analyze and control the project
schedule. The Line of Balance method was chosen because it can graphically
illustrate the relationship between time and work items, making it easier to monitor
progress and identify potential disruptions.
The analysis results show that the optimal duration for project completion is 79
days, which is 21 days faster than the existing project schedule of 100 days.
Additionally, Line of Balance can present productivity levels in easily
understandable graphical form and help identify progress errors. However, this
method has a drawback, namely the potential for increased costs due to the
intensification of activities in each work item.
