Abstract:
The current nursing service paradigm must refer to global issues based on patient-centered, patient
safety, good governance. Patient or family satisfaction is a very important factor in evaluating the
quality of nursing services. The success of an organization depends on various human resources
(HR) including a leader. One leadership style is caring leadership. The need for a leadership role to
optimize nurse performance and nursing services so that patient satisfaction in receiving nursing
services is also achieved. The purpose of this literature review is to determine the extent to which
the caring leadership approach is effective in increasing patient satisfaction with nursing services
based on empirical studies over the past 5 years. The method used is a journal search using the
Pubmed database, Sciantsirect and scholar articles with topics published in English from 2020-2025
then screened using the Prisma method. The results of this literature review utilize DSVIA using
keywords that are in accordance with the preparation of the report. Articles are selected with a choice
of journals, abstract choices, with inclusion and exclusion criteria, so that the journals found to be
investigated. The results of the literature review analysis of 12 journals that have been conducted,
concluded that the caring leadership approach in increasing patient satisfaction with nursing services
is very effective in increasing patient satisfaction. Good cooperation will certainly produce optimal
performance, Cooperation can arise if there is good management from the leader.
