The Impact of the Integrated Participatory Development and Management of Irrigation Program (IPDMIP) Field School on Rice Farmers' Income (Case Study of the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency), Under the guidance of IVAN SAYID NURAHMAN and BENIDZAR M. ANDRIE.
The problems in this study include the lack of knowledge in managing agricultural land so that agricultural productivity is not optimal, in addition there is still a lack of farmer participation in participating in extension programs implemented through farmer group meetings with agricultural extension workers so that there are still farmers who manage their farms still using old methods such as the pattern of planting in one hole, fertilization that is not in accordance with the development of the age of the plant and others. This study aims: 1) Describe the impact of the implementation of the IPDMIP Field School on the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency. 2) Analyze the impact of the IPDMIP Field School on the income, costs and income of rice farmers in the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency. This study uses a survey method with a descriptive approach. The data used are primary and secondary data. The analysis used is the identification of descriptive Internal and External Factors from the questionnaire results. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of the IPDMIP Field School in the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency can improve farmers' abilities in managing rice cultivation because farmers can adopt agricultural technology that can support agricultural business activities. 2) The income, costs and revenue of rice farmers in the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District, Ciamis Regency, the amount of income received after receiving the SL-IPDMIP Program in the Tani Jaya III Farmer Group in Budiharja Village, Sindangkasih District is greater or better than before receiving the SL-IPDMIP Program.
