PENGARUH EDUKASI KESEHATAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU BALITA DALAM PENCEGAHAN PENYAKIT ISPA DI UPTD PUSKESMAS RANCAH 2024

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of health education on improving the knowledge of mothers of toddlers in the prevention of Acute Respiratory Infections (ARI) at UPTD Puskesmas Rancah in 2024. The research employs a quasi-experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design to measure changes in knowledge before and after the health education intervention. The sample consists of 96 mothers of toddlers selected through purposive sampling, who participated in a health education program specifically designed to enhance understanding of ARI prevention. The results indicate a significant increase in mothers' knowledge after receiving health education, reflecting the effectiveness of the program in raising awareness and knowledge about the importance of ARI prevention in young children. Health education has proven to be an effective tool in supporting disease prevention efforts and improving the quality of life for toddlers.
