Abstract:
Background : Elderly can utilize posyandu in a certain area that has been agreed upon, which is driven by the community where they can get health services, but there are still factors that cause elderly not to come to posyandu elderly, one of which is family support because family support is one of the absolute factors that can encourage elderly to visit posyandu. Objektive : This study aims to determine the relationship between family support regarding the use of posyandu with elderly visits to posyandu elderly. Method : This type of research is descriptive quantitative, with a research design using a retrospective data collection method, a sampling technique using a total sampling of 81 respondents. The data collection technique used was a family support questionnaire and a table of elderly visits to posyandu. The bivariate analysis in this study used the Kendall Tau correlation analysis method. Results : The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between Family Support regarding the use of Posyandu with Elderly Visits to the Elderly Posyandu in the Ciamis Village Area, Ciamis Regency, in 2024 because the value of 0.05> ρ value (0.05> 0.000). This study can be used as input for the importance of family support for elderly visits to the elderly Posyandu, so that families know to what extent the family can be a supporter for improving the health of the elderly.
