Abstract:
This research was motivated by the non-optimal performance of the Government in the physical development program in Sindangsari Village, Kawali District, Ciamis Regency, this can be seen from the following indicators: the lack of punctuality of the Village Government in completing the village's physical development, the lack of community satisfaction with the performance of the Village Government. In this study the authors used a qualitative descriptive research method. The technique used by the author in this research is library research and field studies which consist of observation and interviews. As for the informants in this study were as many as 6 people. The performance of the Village Government in the physical development program in Sindangsari Village, Kawali District, Ciamis Regency, based on research results, is known to have not run optimally, in the productivity dimension where the lack of timeliness of the Village Government in completing physical development. In the responsiveness dimension where the community feels dissatisfied with the results of the work that has been carried out by the Village Government which causes delays in community activities. The efforts that must be made are conducting outreach to the community regarding the importance of community participation in development so that development can be completed in accordance with a predetermined time management, and asphalting of the road is not only patched in the potholes, but also the entire road is repaired with hot mix asphalt to used and felt by the community in a long period of time.
