dc.description.abstract ABSTRACT This paper discusses the Use of Edpuzzle to Improve EFL Student Motivation in Listening Skills during Covid-19 Pandemic. The objective of this study was aimed to figure out the students’ perspective on the use of Edpuzzle learning media to improve students’ motivation in listening skills and to investigate the impact of the use of EdPuzzle to improve students’ motivation in listening skills. The present study used qualitative case study design. 30 first-grade students from English education program and an English lecturer participated in this study. The data were obtained through questionnaire to collect students’ perspectives using of Edpuzzle learning media to improve students’ motivation in listening skills and through interview to research the impact of the use EdPuzzle to improve students’ motivation in listening skills. To analyze the questionnaire data was analyzed from responses to open-ended questions from the questionnaire. To analysis the interview, the researcher first transcribes and then made interpretation. The result of this study showed that the students' perception of the use of Edpuzzle in listening courses can motivate their learning during online learning because the features are more interesting and students can understand the listening material, and the feature is interesting and easier for students to receive listening material given by the lecturer, thus this feature can make students think critically. The Edpuzzle app is not only useful for students but also for lecturers in accommodating all assignments and materials in the edpuzzle app without disturbing privacy and draining the memory of the lecturer's Smartphone or laptop. The researcher suggests for lecturers expected to be more creative in finding different and unique teaching media in order to be able to make students interested and not bored in online learning, especially in improving listening skills so that learning and practice in class are easier to follow and the material provided is easily understood by students and creates a learning atmosphere that is conducive to learning new. en_US
