ABSTRACT
This study presents the use of Facebook Group Class Discussion (FGCD) on teaching EFL writing recount text. This study is aimed to describe the utilization of Facebook Group Class Discussion (FGCD) on teaching EFL writing of Recount text and to know the students’ perception on the use Facebook Group Class Discussion (FGCD) on teaching EFL writing recount text. A descriptive qualitative study was applied as the research design of this study. The data were collected by using observation and interviews. The participants were the teacher and 20 students of senior high school in Tasikmalaya. The result of this study showed that the use of Facebook Group Class Discussion (FGCD) on teaching EFL writing recount text is effective to increase the students’ motivation in learning writing recount text. Moreover, the students perceived that the use of Facebook Group Class Discussion (FGCD) on teaching EFL writing recount text can helps them to improve the students’ writing skill. Besides, it makes them more motivated, in learning writing recount text. |
